Hi Guys,

This is purely an interest thread with the possibility of running another season our Indycar season around our usual Winter/Christmas time slot.
Previous seasons we have had a solid foundation of drivers with a core of 8-11 drivers showing up for every race which im very grateful for your commitment. The issue is we will needstrong numbers for every race (especially oval racing) to make the most of our mini championship.

So below is the proposed calendar & dates (subject to some tweaking). If you like what you see, can make the time and days (FOR MINIMUM 4 OF 5 RACES) then please post your twitter and psn info below if you would sign up to race. We will be in contact if you do so.

Like in the past all races will be hosted on Mondays. Invites at 6.50pm (UK Time) Races will finish approximately 8pm.

Its worth noting the grid for the most part have been of mix ability but there has always been tight competition at the front and midfield.

Races are Mondays , invites at 6.50pm UK TIME

Race Settings -

Qualifying - 15 minutes

Mandatory pit stop(s)

Weather slots will be dry

Monday 25th November

*** Remember to select the oval cars and not track car. Also please remember to appear online. Oval racing is a lot more difficult to coordinate and as we know can lead to crashes. It’s very very very important we abide by these rules at race start - For oval races, drivers must do this in the first 2 LAPS of the race - be in single file to ensure no accidents. Drivers must remain in position they qualified in with a car length space at minimum to the car in front. Drivers must average 100 mph during this time. ( not exceed 105 mph and not below 95 mph) - 160 KPH No overtaking is allowed til after you crossed the line. But bare in mind you should not be in the cars gear box at that point anyway. Anyone not abiding by these rules will Be DSQ from the race results. Period. This is theoretically 2 formation laps. The race will technically begin on lap 3 of 100. Also please be aware you can be DSQ for entering the pitlane too quickly. Slow to 37mph before the pit line.

Defo!
Just a thought, is it interesting to race on tracks not normally visited by indycar?
